The HX200 high speed sensors have been designed for use in automotive rear impact testing of car seats. The original application was to place the sensor between seat and test dummy in order to better understand impact pressure at speeds up to 30km/h.  However, with frame rates of up to 500 frames per second, the HX200 can be used for any application where high speed pressure data collection is required

  The IX500.128.128.10 is a high resolution tyre sensor with 16,384 sensor points that can offer the user highly detailed pressure images. Data collection is also faster that other tyre sensors in XSensor’s range.

 Yet the IX500:128.128.10's flexible construction means it can conform to uneven surfaces away from the test laboratory.  This sensor’s tough and durable covering means it can even be used in shallow sub-soil test situations

IX500:256.256.16 Tyre

The IX500:256.256.16 is a high resolution tyre sensor offering accurate, detailed images in both 2D or 3D for tyre profile and tread analysis or any surface you wish to measure.

The larger active surface area is particularly suitable for the larger tyres fitted to 4 x 4 SUVs, sports/racing cars and larger vehicles e.g. vans or trucks.

The highly stable calibration which does not require re-calibrating every few measurements means this sensor offers the user fast, easy and accurate data collection.

Combining the XSensor Pro V7 software and electronics with the IX500.256.256.16 sensor offers fast, powerful data collection with excellent resolution

  • This sensor must be connected to four X3 SENSOR PACK PROs.
  • The X3 SENSOR PACK PROs need to be connected to an X3 PRO.
  • The X3 PRO configurations need to be subsequently connected to a power supply or battery and a computer running XSENSOR software to function

The IX500:256.256.22 is a reliable and durable, high-resolution tyre sensor that is a favourite with XSensor’s automotive, car, motorcycle, truck and motorsport users.  And it’s not difficult to understand why.

With a spatial resolution of just 1.15mm, offering 65,536 sensor points, this sensor offers the highest resolution of any tyre pressure mapping sensor available. The highly stable calibration which does not require re-calibrating every few measurements means this sensor offers the user fast, easy and accurate data collection.

Combined with XSensor’s new Pro V7 software and electronics, the IX500.256.256.22 sensor offers a fast, powerful data collection tool with pin sharp resolution

  • This sensor must be connected to four X3SENSOR PACK PROs.

A durable urethane cover provides extra protection and durability for heel strike and running movements. Additionally,the sensor provides a highframe rate for recording foot movements. Generate foot profiles and analyze foot movements from standing to walking and running.

XSensor are please to introduce the IX510:3.64.05, their first sensor for measuring and mapping the pressure on the heel and tow of a tire’s bead. This sensor is a high resolution flexible design that offers high resolution images and information on the pressure between the wheel rim and tire bead. 

This sensor is designed for repeated use with tires from many different types of vehicles such as passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and commercial truck tires. Two sensors can be used simultaneously for measurement at two points of the tire/ wheel

As XSensor’s sensors are all plug and play, existing XSensor tire system users with XSensor’s Pro V7 or new Pro V8 software are able to add this sensor to their existing system for just the cost of the sensor

LX100 Seat Series

The LX100 series of pressure mapping sensors are the most advanced sensors yet offered by XSensor.  They share all the advantages of high flexibility and conformability with other  XSensor's products. But developments in design and manufacturing mean that the LX100 series offer improvements in durability and accuracy.

The low Hysteresis and creep characteristics of these sensors along with a high degree of repeatability means these are the most accurate sensors yet offered by XSensor. In fact accelerated durability tests have shown that the calibration of these sensors is so stable that it stays within ±2% of the original calibration for up to five years.

These characteristics make the LX100 series ideal for engineering and automotive research and design and process control applications

The LX210 series of sensors are the replacement for the LX200 sensors. They now feature new, lighter  construction which offers even more flexiblility which conforms even better to irregular shapes. Available in a similar range of sizes to the popular LX100 sensors, the LX210 range features a higher pressure range of 0.1-15psi, making these versatile sensors a great choice for many applications including comfort testing, quality, durability and ingress / egress studies. Like all XSensor sensors the LX210 range offers durable, repeatable and highly stable performance. 

The LX210 series of sensors have the same low Hysteresis, low creep and high repeatability characteristics as the LX100 range, which means they share the same high accuracy and durability without the need for regular, repeated calibration.

The PX100:48.48.02 sensor is a highly flexible design which conforms well to irregular shapes while offering accurate and repeatable data collection at up 45 frames or more per second. These characteristics make it ideal for applications such as seating comfort and ingress / egress studies or other measurements that require repeated or data collection over a longer period of time.

Like all XSensor’s sensor mats, calibration is highly stable and does not require repeated re-calibration after every few uses

  • Each sensor must be connected to an X3 sensor pack or X3 sensor pack PRO.
  • The X3 sensor pack(s) should be connected to an X3 PRO or an X3 DISPLAY unit either directly or via an X3 Node
  • The X3 PRO needs connection to a power supply and a computer with X3 software to function.
